All doors has a switches build into door locks/not on door frames. One of them is wrong

Hi Jay, I have had the same problem on a 2003 golf petrol .The interior of the door locks are extremely complicated, I have never seen such a lock system. there are numerous very small micro switches within the locks but there is one that switches when the door opens and closes and operates when the large toggle wraps around the shaft as the door closes on the body, the switch closes when this clasp closes. It is really small and far to delicate for such an area. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5dtdyDDgrw
I cannot put in pictures but this link will show you the switch, cleaning it did not work for me and I have ordered new switches to fit myself, you have to remove everything to get at the lock ,window etc etc, but it is not as bad as it seems. I am still waiting on the switches but after having stripped it all out can see how it causes all the vw golf problems,. alarm going off, doors closing after opening and closing, no interiour lights etc, as the car does not actually recognise that the door ever opened because of thos poxy lttle switch .
