That could be alot of things... does your car run well...? has your engine been service lately?? is it time for your routine maitnance done..? plugs, Wires , oil,,., if all is well its always easy after all is checked? is to simply get the computer connected at a shop to find the code your light poped..

1992 crown Victoria. check engine light comes on periodically. when it does the car starts running as if it will cut off. I have to hold the break and press the gas at the same time to keep it crunk.

First find out the code then try to fix.no code you do not know.

1992.ford crown victoria i have a check engine light on the Code 542, Fuel pump secondary circuit whats this mean? the car runs perfect lots of power.

take it to local auto store and have them read the code to you it will tell you what the problem is

No check engine light

THE ENGINE HESITATES WHEN IDLING AND GOING SLOW AND EVEN THE ENGINE GOES DEAD. I TOOK TO THE SHOP TO CHECK OUT, BUT THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS NOT ON AND THE MECHANIC COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. PLEAS HELP!

Check the starter solenoid. Usually mounted on a fender well. Find by following the + battery cable.

No start issue

make sure the battery is fully charged and the charging system is ok. advance auto or autozone will check this for free. if all checks out i would say replace the starter.
