Hi, to test your fuel pump relay, unplug the relay, identify the two control circuit terminals and the two power circuit terminals. Most relays have a diagram printed on the case itself to identify these terminals. If not, look at the mounting base of the relay. The two thin-gauge wires that connect to the relay feed the control circuit terminals; the other two thick-gauge wires connect to the power terminals. Test for continuity between the two power terminals on the relay. Using an ohmmeter, set it at the lowest resistance range and touch the meter leads to each of the relay power terminals. You should read infinite resistance; otherwise, the contact points are shorted. If this is the case, replace the relay. Connect the end of a fused jumper wire to the positive terminal of the car battery and the other end to one of the control circuit terminals on the relay. Hook the end of a regular jumper wire to the other control terminal and touch the other end of the jumper wire to a good ground on your vehicle (this could be the engine block itself). As you touch ground with the wire, the relay should make a clicking sound. If not, swap the jumper wire connections. If you still cannot hear the click sound, the relay is shorted. Replace the relay. Leave the jumper wires connected to the relay control terminals and test the power terminals for continuity as you did in step 4. This time you should read zero or a resistance value in the hundredths or thousandths. If you read infinite resistance, replace the relay.

Help... I have a 92 350 chevy truck that will not start. I have replace the ECM, coil, ignition mod., the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump. When i turn th Ignition switch on th fuel pump doesnt come on....

You said you jumped the wires for the pump? Was that at the pump relay?
If you have a voltmeter or test light, keep the jumper wire in place and check for voltage at the fuel tank connector. The pump wire will be gray. With relay out and jumpered there, you should have battery voltage at the fuel tank connector. The key doesn't even have to be on, cause the relay has voltage to it at all times. If you jumpered it right (terminals 87 and 30 on the relay), and no voltage at the tank connector, you have a broken fuel wire somewhere between the relay and the fuel tank.
If you do have voltage at the tank, but the pump still won't work, only two possibilities, a bad pump or the ground for the pump is lost. Check the pump ground first.

1998 chevy blazer fuel pump wont shut off how do

I don't think you can on that vehicle-probably not a code, anyway. Check the fuel pump relay, it may be stuck on. Should be located in the power distribution box under hood. Pull it out-pump should stop-swap in a different relay to test. If pump still runs on with new relay, the wiring to the relay needs checked.

I HAVE A 1994 Chevy Truck G 20 Van V8-350 5.7L ...CRANK NO START I AM GETTING FUEL TO THROTTLE BODY BUT not injection into motor. being test wires all day first the fuel pump wouldn't prime so had a...

If the fuel pump does not prime either the PCM is not sending a ground signal to the relay, the relay is bad, or there is an issue with its circuit (no power to relay/blown fuse, short in wires).
Your injectors not spraying may be the ignition module. The module sends a signal to the PCM to let the PCM know the engine is turning and running. If the PCM does not see this signal it may think the engine is not running and when it does not run it does not spray fuel.
Take the module to an autozone to have it tested.

No power to fuel pump

have you tested for main power to the fuel pump relay and checked the main fuse???
this is a very common honda fault over in newzealand where im from..having owned a few myself i have come accross, this generally the relay though.. but if you have a good fuse supplying power to relay its the relay or wiring..if not , trace from fusebox back to ecu by passengers foot well....i cant quite remember what pin number is the fuel power but i know it only runs piggy back to ecu so ecu doesnt control it ... try this if no luck try auto sparky

92 Chevy Suburban Electrical Fuel System

I assume the fuel pump fuse is good?
The only time voltage will be sent to the fuel pump will be the first 2 to 3 seconds if the starter is not engaged. You will want to crank the engine over and check for voltage on the load side of the relay, circuit #30 at the relay.
Let me know after you check.
