Notes CIRCUIT OPERATION - CANADA
On Canadian vehicles, the low-beam headlamps operate when the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the headlamp switch is OFF.

When the ignition switch is in the START or RUN position, circuit A1 from fuse 15 in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) connects to circuit A21. Circuit A21 powers circuit F18 through fuse 19 in the fuse block. Circuit F18 feeds the Daytime Running Module (DRL) module.

Circuit L20 from the headlamp switch connects to DRL module. Circuit L20 is HOT at all times.

The DRL module receives the vehicle speed sensor input from circuit G7. Circuit G34 from the DRL module provides power for the high beam indicator lamp in the instrument cluster.

Circuit L4 powers the low beams of the headlamps. When the headlamp switch is OFF, the DRL module powers the low beams on circuit L4. When the headlamps are ON, the multi-function switch powers the low beams on circuit L4.

Circuit L3 feeds the high beams of the headlamps. When the operator flashes the headlamps with the stalk of the multi-function switch, the DRL module senses voltage on circuit L3. When it senses voltage on circuit L3, the DRL module stops supplying power to the low beams on circuit L4.

Circuit Z1 provides ground for the DRL module.

2005 Dodge Ram 1500. My running lights don't go on?

Check the bulbs. DAYTIME Running Lights are controlled by the Body Control Module. You need an auto electrician for that.

No fuse covering them.

94 Dodge Ram 3500 Van runs fine, but will not move much. Previously would start in Park, now will only start in Neutral. After sitting for a few hours or a day it will run a few hundred yards but then...

Dumb question but, did you check the trans fluid? A torque converter can hold 6 quarts of fluid or more and if the van has sat for an extended period of time the fluid drains from the converter and will come out of the vent tube causing a no movement issue

02dodge ram ,running rough, black smoke out exhaust

Take it to an Autozone or O'Reillys and they will test the computer for you. It should have set a code, but you don't know if the code light works so its your best bet. Sounds like it is running rich and the crankshaft module is not advancing the timing.

Faulty forward control modules

Check eBay. They have front control modules ranging from $50 to $100, some with warranties (30 days, but if it works the first day, it'll usually last). Try to get the part number from yours and make sure you get the same part number, don't worry about the letter suffixes. Search "2004 dodge ram front control module"
