My security system on my 1986 nissan 300zx is flashing for no reason and my driver side headlight is dead. i took it apart and bought a new one and it still doesn't work. the weird thing is that when the security system is going off the driver side headlight works. Do you have any suggestions on this? please help i can't drive at night and this is my only car.

Did it rain before it happened? (Humidity?) It happened to my 2000 Maxima. A few days later it was OK. I also checked under driver's seat. I thought maybe I was pushing on a wire with stuff I had there..?

If I remember correctly nissan uses a L&R high and low beam fuses,might want to double check them,but if you need any diagrams just ask have a good day DB

fusible link on the left side of the engine.right next to the lip where the hood overlaps the frame. It sholuld have a cover over them but the one that is blown is either green with 2 wires or red with 1.
