MY 1999 MADZA 626 VIBRATES BAD WHEN IN PARK AND WHEN I HOLD THE BREAK AT A RED LIGHT. WHEN I PUT IT IN NUTRAL AND HOLD THE BREAK IT SEEMS FINE. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO DIFFERENT AUTO REPAIR SHOPS AND IT JUST GETS WORSE. I HAVE HAD THE TRANSMISSION DONE TWICE AND PUT A NEW TIMING BELT ON. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad neutral switch

Try fuel injector cleaner. You may also need to get some carb cleaner and clean the idle air valve.
Check for vacuum leaks.

You need to remove the head and replace the head gasket.
If you do not know how to do this then get a mechanic to fix your engine.

Is there any shift lock button near gear lever if yes than push it and give it a a try if no than I think you have you flush the gear oil and replace the gear filter too.

nutral park swich out of adustment or defective
brake light swith/ fuse/bulbs/wires to lights

Broken shift cable

this could be a case of carbon debris in the throttle body plates and idle air control chambers...simply might just need serviced/cleaned...pull air intake off throttle body and spray with a good throttle body cleaner spray including the idle air ports. Ive also seen motor mounts cause this as this is more of a vibration felt in gear

try it in nutral put in park and hold up and or jigle up and down in park, dont come out of park jiggle while u hold to start,check large fuses anything marked starter check cables cable ground to engine ,check nutral safty switch check starter , and starter wire ing wire at starter with test light small wire on starter while someone trys to start jeep ground test light to a good ground and hold point on small wire on starter it should light up if it does your starter is bad ,if it doesnt light up check ignition switch on steering colum ,most likely bad

Have your Motor Mounts and Tranny mounts checked.

madza 626 2002,s fuse box is next to the suspension inside the bonet, towards the left suspension
