Never heard of the a/c problem before. However, the problem with the truck stalling when the a/c is on I'm very familiar with. This problem happens when you use the defroster also, because this uses the a/c to dry the air. This is a very very common problem for Trailblazers and Envoys. You must of recently changed or disconnected your battery. Your computer learned some bad habits, so when you re-connected it, it thought you had a clean properly functioning throttle body. Must clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and the battery disconnected. I like to use spray SeaFoam. When finished, hook battery back up, and drive around for 5 miles or so with all accessories off, this will make the computer re-learn a properly functioning throttle body. That problem will be solved. This may solve the other problem, but I'm not sure on that one.

Where are the Spark Plugs located in a 2004 Lincoln Navigator?

Hello, first how many miles do you have on this Lincoln? On that 4.6 L V8 engine they do have spark plugs but each plug has it's own spark coil located on a long rubber plug. You will see four little coils on each side of the engine. There will wires going in to the individual coils. There will be a bracket the holds the coils in place with a small 9 or 10 mm nut. Remove the nut, and gently pull on eac coil. There Hello, first how many miles do you have on this Lincoln? If you have over 120 thousand miles on this engine then it might need new spark plugs. There will wires going in to the individual coils. There will be a bracket the holds the coils in place with a small 9 or 10 mm nut. Remove the nut, and gently pull on each coil. There a long rubber plug that fit in each spark hole. These rubber plugs are about 4 1/2 to 5 inches long.

Before removing the plug use an air hose with 50 to 60 lbs of pressure to blow each spark plug hole out which might have foreign object in the hole. Why, if you remove the spark plugs, and there is foreign material in that plug hole. Guess what, that stuff will fall into the combustion camber.

Then you will really have some problem. How fix if stuff fall into the combustion camber.

Squirt small amount of oil in the combustion camber, unplug all the coils and clear out there plug hole. Now remove all the spark plugs. Now, you can crank the engine and will the little amount in that cylinder that has the junk in it. The oil will wet the foreign debrie, and blow it out the spark plug hole. Then use a clean rag with with some oil it with a long screw driver to clean that spark plug hole Be careful that don't push the foreign material back into the combustion camber. Do this several time with little amount of oil.

Now, you can install the new spark plugs. On the spark plugs threads use some anti-shiz grease. Why squirt oil into the combustion camber? The oil is used to seal the rings on the piston to increase the cylinder compression. Just a small amount goes a long ways. GB...stewbison

The spark plugs are at the end of a very long boot. What precautions need to be taken?

You need the proper tool to grab the boot near the spark plug so as to not tear or damage the boot. I have seen many ripped in half because the boot adheres to the plug over time. When replacing the boot on a new plug, smear a little lithium grease on the lip to make it easier next time around. Ther are several nice spark plug boot pullers on the market that will do a nice job.

How to change spark plug on a 2000 town car

remove the ignition coil. The plug is deep in the head.Use a deep well socket with an extension. After you remove the coil you will want to blow out the area with an air compressor before you remove the spark plug to keep debris from falling into the engine.Be gentle removing the plug so you don't break it off. Because the plugs are so deep into the head you'll want to get a piece of rubber hose that will slip tightly over the end of the plug. This will help you get the old plug out and to start threading the new plug in.Use anti-seize on the new plug threads

On a 1997 mercedes sl320 once the top cover is removed and the spark plugs are in sight, is the plug replacing pretty simple?

it's can do, but you must have a good knowledge to do it, i will guide you how to do it, first get right spark plugs for your particular car, it's very impotent to get right spark plugs, otherwise it will get damaged engine, first remove top cover of engine, then very carefully remove spark plug lids from spark plug, keep in mind don't pull spark plug lids form wire it will brake easily, you must pull lids from plastic holder which is in side the head cover, after remove lids have good look inside holes before remove spark plugs, if you can see any dirty or dust inside hole between plug and housing you must remove that otherwise wen you remove spark plugs it will fall inside the combustion chamber, use high presser air to blow it, then you need right spark plug box for remove spark plug after remove the spark plugs get one spark plug to spear parts shop, and ask right one for that model, wise salesmen know how to find the right one, don't use any duplicate cheep spark plugs, even new spark plugs check the spark gaps all are the same, if you see any one deferant than outhers need to be correct the gap using piller Gage mus be use 33 lip on your piller Gage to set gap, then first your spark plug fix in to the plug box spanner and lowly insert in to the plug hole and tight it, don't let spark plug to fall in to the hole when you insert it, if it fall in, it can be change spark gap in your new plug, spark plug tighten tourque is 25nm, don't tight toomuch or don't let box spanner to angle when you tight, keep hold middle of hole when you tight it, it can crack ceramic part of spark plug, if one spark plug cracked it will make misfiring the engine, after replace all spark plugs clean lids hole using rags if its wet or oily, then install and press it in to the spark plug hole you can hear locking noise wen it get right. be careful don't mix up lids better keep mark all the lids if not numbers in lids, is this information helped you?
