SOURCE: 2007 toyota camry-idel problem/dealership has not resolved can't find problem
I had the same problem with my 2001 Toyota Echo after it reached about 110,000 miles. At red lights & stop signs, the car began to noticeably vibrate. At first I suspected a transmission problem or a broken engine mount. Upon looking deeper, however, neither was the problem. Instead, it turned out to be a dirty air filter under the hood. I changed the air filter & the situation improved noticeably. It turns out the dirty air filter was restricting air flow into the car's computerized sensors & as a result it was idling very rough when in Drive at red lights & stop signs when I was going 0 MPH & my foot was off the gas pedal. After changing the air filter, the situation improved greatly, although it still vibrates a little bit but nothing like it did before. Toyota air filters cost about $11 (give or take) & can be changed in 5 to 10 minutes if you know how to do it. Hope this helps...Have A Great Day...

SOURCE: Toyota 4Runner/maintenance schedule at 140K miles
The maintenance schedule is an outline and should be followed if you want to keep your vehicle in good condition. the maintenance items listed in the schedule are performed at their set intervals for a reason. Manufacturers have found the wear limits on certain parts and those parts may need to be serviced or replaced at those intervals or catastrophic failures may result.
SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Camry (2.4 L) control arm bushings tearing out
most of the time the bushings are so hard and tight they neeed to be put in using a hydraulic press, requiring them to be removed from the vehicle. they may not cause any symptoms in your steering but they may squeak and/or eventually break loose which, during travel, is very unsafe. i advise to get them changed
