First check to see if all the door pin switches on the door jambs are working ok. There is a rubber piece over it, when you open the door the switch completes the circuit to ground and the light turns on. Sometimes they get grimmy and stick.
Also, there is a small rotary switch on the instroment cluster, left of the steering wheel that can get bumped and turn on the interior light(s). Check it to see that it is turned off.
If either of these doesn't fix the problem, the light is picking up a ground somewhere. I would remove the bulb to prevent the battery from running down; until you can locate the problem.
