There is a DRL (Daytime Running Light) Module located in the Fuse Box area under the hood, just remove it and purchase a new one and your DRL's will work fine again.

perhaps i missed something here... lowbeams and daytime lights are about the same.... be that as it may... the merely obvious thing is that the low beams are burnt out.... next thing would be that the relay for the day time lights could be defective... it's often mounted on the firewall.

Hiya...if the green headlight logo in the instrument panel flashes a few times then went out, it indicates one of the low beam headlight lamp has burnt out.
It need a new headlight bulb...check it by turning the headlight on 'low' and see which one is burnt out is the one that need to be replaced.
You could replace it yourself by removing the 4 black plastic clips that holds the top grille brackets on the top(by the top radiator frame area), take the 3 bolts off the headlight brackets then slide your hand to gain access behind the grille/headlight to change the lightbulb--it's tight so do it with care.
Or you can take it in your local garage to do it.
The odometer bulb is burnt out as well so it require removal of the speedometer/instrument panel face off and locate the bulb inside...if you are brave to handle this repair yourself with your tools, try it or have the garage do it for you..your choice.
Take care!

Daytime running lights stopped working. All other functions, turn signals, back-up, auto lamps etc work. What could be the cause and fix?

First I would check the fuse for the daytime light and replace it. Sometimes they look good but are not working. Just replace it.

I have a 2003 chevy cavalier. headlight issue

The blinking light is telling you that you have a headlight out, if you look the service light should be coming on when the light stops blinking.
Replace the head light and all should be fine.

My r/f high beam is out, so I replaced the bulb but I still have no high beam. Also my daytime running lights stopped working, could they possibly be related?

Yes your daytime running light just uses the headlight bulb on a lower voltage so if the headlight is not working the drl will not work as well, they are dirrectly related,,check the head light fuse, and check to make sure the bulb is good,,

Daytime running lights and blinkers do not work

the lights are controlled by a module, it is the DRL module, replace it. also try this
On the inside of the car next to the light switch there is your dome light button. GM made it to where you could turn off the daytime running lights by pushing it three times in and out. Turn the vehicle on then do this. Your daytime running lights should work after this.
