perhaps i missed something here... lowbeams and daytime lights are about the same.... be that as it may... the merely obvious thing is that the low beams are burnt out.... next thing would be that the relay for the day time lights could be defective... it's often mounted on the firewall.

Hiya...if the green headlight logo in the instrument panel flashes a few times then went out, it indicates one of the low beam headlight lamp has burnt out.
It need a new headlight bulb...check it by turning the headlight on 'low' and see which one is burnt out is the one that need to be replaced.
You could replace it yourself by removing the 4 black plastic clips that holds the top grille brackets on the top(by the top radiator frame area), take the 3 bolts off the headlight brackets then slide your hand to gain access behind the grille/headlight to change the lightbulb--it's tight so do it with care.
Or you can take it in your local garage to do it.
The odometer bulb is burnt out as well so it require removal of the speedometer/instrument panel face off and locate the bulb inside...if you are brave to handle this repair yourself with your tools, try it or have the garage do it for you..your choice.
Take care!

make sure daytime running lights are on,you may only need to pull the emergency brake pull handle up and same time lift the emergency brake pedal up by hand while you have the e-brake pull handle up. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
