Regardless if your '07 Dodge Caliber has a 1.8L or a 2.0L engine, the transmission fluid capacity is the same. What will make a difference is the type and size of any auxiliary coolers that the vehicle may or may not utilize, and what type of service you are performing. For example, if the transmission is being overhauled and the torque converter is empty, the "dry fill" capacity is 8.6 quarts. On the other hand (and much more likely), if the transmission is being serviced inside the vehicle, the "service fill" capacity is 7.4 quarts. Be sure to only use the manufacturer recommended Mopar CVT+4 or equivalent; not all transmission fluids are the same and adding an incorrect type could damage the transmission. I'm not positive on the 2007 specifically, but in most cases the shift solenoid is located inside the transmission fluid pan, above the filter. Drain the fluid/drop the pan, remove the transmission filter, and you SHOULD see the solenoid just above the front edge of the opening...
Again I'm not positive on the 07, this is just where they are located on most of the trucks I have encountered. On that note, before you open it up make sure you have a new filter & gasket and enough new fluid to fill the pan after servicing (normally 4-5 quarts will do it) keep in mind a service fill is considerably less fluid than the total fluid capacity of your transmission... good luck !
according to the chart 11 pts. where 2 pts. = 1 quart, so it's like 5 quarts and a half. But, all capacities are approximate, it says, so check on level ground, warmed up, for full level of transmission fluid.
