My left turn signal light is not working i have put a new light bulb in it and it still is not working. It looks as if one of the small plugs is unplugged. I was wondering if you knew what was wrong, I was also wondering if you could send me a picture of how it is supposed to be wired up. My car is a 1998 chevrolet cavaleir.

when looking at the motor from the front of the car. the pullies are off to the passanger side. the side in front of you from the pullies to tranni are 1, 3, and 5. On the firewall side, it's 2, 4, and 6. On that year of car, the distrubitor should be labeled.

Does it do it if you just turn the parking lights on? I would suspect this is a bad ground causing the head or tail lamps to pull through the turn circuit. I came across this years ago in an 85 cutlass. the ground for the tail lights was very rusty. Cleaning and regrounding solved the issue.

Are you check voltage in the bulbs connector? If also you was check the fuse and this is OK, them I suggest check wiring diagram (click image for zoom)...
