My tahoe acts like it is going to start but wont like it isnt getting gas. i had pump replaced approx. a year ago

The regulator is probably under the intake manifold along with your injectors...the pump is in the fuel tank and the filter is usually on the firewall...

I got a 96 tahoe 350 5.7 and it dont start eather i replaced whole spark system 8 months ago shestarted right up now again wont start turns over but this was last year now again wont start i get gas but no spark im a swop out my coil and try again any help e mail me at [email protected] please i cant scrap her never could

I WOULD START WITH ELECTRICAL AND FEUL CONNECTIONS. IF YOU HAVE A FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE, CONNECT TO THE FUEL RAIL ON TOP OF THE ENGINE, LOOKS LIKE A TIREVALVE STEM SHOULD HAVE ABOUT 60PSI OR SO.

sounds like the coil has went bad or crank sensor

It could be just about anything was it driven normal before it died or was it acting up . make sure that the gas is actually getting to the engine if it is i would maybe change the spark plugs. then the computer again . but may start to get costly by guessing you may want to bring it in for test..

The fuel pump might have went out,have a fuel pressure test done to make sure

Sounds like a bunch of dirty fuel injectors. Run a couple tanks of high strength fuel system cleaner, like BG-44K.

fuel pump is around 300 dollars they are not that hard to change it's in the fuel tank

replace your MAP sensor(manifold absolute pressure) the map sensor is the computer for your fuel pressure regulator telling how much pressure. Unless your tahoe runs like **** going up hill than it inevitably your fuel pump

What is the year, make and model? One thing you can do to see if the problem is the fuel pump is to hook up a fuel pressure guage on the fuel rail located on the top o the engine. The valve that you hook the guage up to loos similar to the valve stem on a bike tire or car this will tell you if you are getting fuel pressure or not. Another common problem is the fuel pump relay which can sometimes go bad. This is usually located near your fuse block and they cost around $20 dollars depending on which application requires them. Keep me posted.
