i have found 2 different firing orders for a v6 1 is the v6 and the firing order is 1-4-3-6-2-5 cyliders are numbered odd 1-3-5 on passenger side and 2-4-6 on drivers side
on the vr6 the cylinders are numbered the same odd on passenger side(1-3-5) and even on drivers side (2-4-6) but the firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4 hope this helps
from the front of the engine looking back to the gearbox the left bank is 135.the right is 246 firing order is 135624.V=engine configuration.R=regulator(engine).6=cylinders(they also designed a vr4...vr5...vr6...vr10...W12...and patented them all.)
