I think you might not have enough fuel supply to the motor.replace the fuel filter if it hasn`t been changed for a while.then check the fuel pressure and volume with a gage and a container.if this is throttle body injection it should have about 13lbs pressure and the volume should be about 500ml in 15 seconds of running.if it was too much fuel you would be having black smoke out the tailpipe and wet plugs.

1991 gmc sierra stalls at stops. shifts

coiuld need fuel filter replaced or maybe weak fuel pump. Can have it pressure tested to see if this might be the problem. Could also be dirty gas which some gas treatment might fix. These are the things i would check first being that you said all the sensors checked out...hope this helps and good luck..

From red light truck started sputtering and and stalled out

Hello. The GMC Sierra has an electric fuel pump so you should ensure that its fuses and relays are working before checking it. You may need to clean your fuel pump or replace it if your gas tank is not empty, but your vehicle has difficulty getting fuel. The GMC Sierra comes in a variety of styles and trim levels that can affect the replacement fuel pump you choose.

To start up a cold engine requires reach mixture (air-gas).In your case it seems like the choke is not working ,so cold engine cannot start. If it is an injection operated system then it must have a temperature sensor which suppose to turn the choking on when cold engine needs to get started.Either the sensor is faulty or the choke or between the two there is a faulty connection somewhere.
