2005 jeep liberty no power no start no lights no remote entry good battery

  • barbbush Dec 09, 2008

My jeep does not start in the morning. It is cold here, so we plug it in, but still in the morning it does not start. I don't think it is the battery because we have taken the battery out and kept it inside the house, still it does not start. What could this be?

My 2012 Jeep Liberty stopped running it's not battery because I got a new one

To reset the Jeep Liberty alarm, press the control door-lock button on the keyless entry fob. Open the side door of the cab. Leave all doors closed for around 16 seconds before the Vehicle Security Light on the instrument cluster starts blinking quickly.

2005 Jeep Liberty, does not re- start, does not crank, no solenoid click.

From your description it seems as if the relay is bad or else the battery is shorting out inside and needs to be replaced. I would change the relay to start.

My 2005 jeep liberty will not start. Starter is good. What could be the probable cause?

Check the battery for bad connections..take off the cables and clean both the battery posts and the cable connectors and then try...if no start, then see if you can check the battery voltage with a voltmeter...at stand still(engine not running) the battery should read 12.5 volts...if battery is ok, then there is the possibility that the starter solenoid, the starter relay, or (in rare cases) the ignition switch is bad

My remote key entry won't lock the Jeep. I

when you open the fob to change the battery, make sure that none of the soldering on the circuit board has come loose, and if it has, you can pick up a soldering iron for 15 bux, or a new key fob for 350

I have 2002 Jeep Liberty (Sport) - won't start!

Your security system could have a problem, replace battery in keyless remote. If not helping you may have to take it somewhere and have security system checked

Tried to start jeep liberty 2005 went and opened

Aside from the part about the remote, I would first check to make sure the battery has a solid 12volts in it and that the terminal connections are clean. After this, then check to see if operation has been restored. Jumping across a battery with bad connection often prevents the vehicle from starting. Also try closing the doors and then locking and unlocking drivers door with the key itself. This should re-set the security system
