Try taking the wires off the battery terminals. Sand them to where they are both completely shiny, and then charge up the battery. Put 'em back on, and see if it works.

What is jump it off?

Jumping a dead battery is a dangerous practice

You should always try & charge a battery for several
hours before attemping to start a vehicle

How old is the battery?
Is it dead,worn out,old?

Did you have it tested?

The clicking could be a bad starter solenoid,
if not the battery.

Then you go to cable connections, the starter less
the solenoid issue

Sounds like you need a new starter if the battery is charged and it wont turn over just click
you also might want to clean the terminals on the battery that will also give you just a click

hope this helps you

2000 nissan frontier xe. starter went out, replaced started. worked for a couple days and went out again, starter had factory defect, put new starter in and still wont turn over, just clicks a lot. all

When you get your Frontier started after jump starting it, does it stay running? If it does, you probably just have a bad battery. If you have a battery and brake icon come on, on your dash, you probably have a bad alternator. you could go to auto zone and they will be able to test your battery.

2001 Nissan Frontier makes clicking noise when trying to start

It's very possible that a wire connection came loose and makes connection when you jiggle the fuse box. Be careful when working with the box as wires may come disconnected then you'll be in big trouble not knowing what goes where. Hope this helps.

When i try to start my 2005 frontier i turn the key and all it does is click mulitple times. i have tried to jump it and it doesnt work. my radio and lights do still work.

Most likely a bad solenoid on the starter assembly. The clicking you hear is the solenoid trying to move the starter gear onto the flywheel and make the electrical connection to the starter.

Remove the starter (the solenoid is attached) from the truck and take it your friendly auto parts store for testing. While you are going in it is a good idea to bring your battery in for testing too. A starter near failure stresses the battery and can cause it to fail as well.

My Abs brakes are making a clicking noise then the Abs light comes on in my 2003 nissan frontier. help me diagnose it if you can.

Hello , does the ABS system function? You may have a faulty wheel speed sensor, or a faulty ABS control mod. Quinn ,Arizona

2005 nissan altima won't start, clicking noise is heard

It sounds like your battery is dead. You may be able to fix this with a jump start if you left your lights on over night. If a good jump does not work it may be your starter. but you should start with the simple and cheap solution first. Try having someone jump start your car.
