You might want to get a quote on what it will cost to fix and then decide if a wrecker might have a replacement auto transmission and if the cost of changing over the auto transmission at a wreckers is worth doing.
it might be more cost effective to replace the car .
due to the age of the car .

My new 2007 Camry V6 did the dance you describe at about 2000 miles. It turned out to be a bad transmission, the so-called "snap ring" problem. They replaced the transmission under warrantee. However the new one did the same thing at 1800 miles on that transmission. I sold the car back to Toyota and bought a Hybrid. You need a Toyota dealer to look at it. Good luck!

Gear oil level is even with the oil fill port. Just fill it until you can insert your finger slightly into the port and feel oil.

you need to go to your local auto parts store and get a repair manual or ask their helpful parts people for assistance thats your best bet. make sure you fully understand how to do it . good luck

if it was me i would go to a toyota dealer with my vin number and if you look on the door it will tell you what month the car was made also take paper to the car registraton to prove you are the owner and they will get you a key you may even have to have the car tow so call the dealer ship first because the new key has to be program to work with the car
