Brakes are locked or stuck when car is in reverse or forward mode. How can i repair this or what could be the problem. Your help will be greatly appreciated?

I tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped
me repair transmission problem in my ford explorer. it wont move forward or reverse, engine is good both solenoids for forward and reverse work.

Jack up the truck and see if brakes are locked.. or just try pushing it if it rolls its probably a trans problem not a brake problem. could be the park prawl is broken in the Trans.
The coolant temp sensor basicly tells the computer whe it's can move into the go mode. WWatch to see if there is a corresponding between the engine temp and the go mode. Good Luck, _Ned_
