97 mustang (V6 3.5 l - Automatic)

Brakes are locked or stuck when car is in reverse or forward mode. How can i repair this or what could be the problem. Your help will be greatly appreciated?

I have a 91 Mustang GT automatic with AOD. The car shifts great from 1st and 2nd and 2nd to 3rd but 3rd eventually drops out (release gas peddle then depress and no speed just climbing RPMs)

I tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped

F-150 2005.. automatic when put in drive position it wont go forward...feels like i have brakes on.the same on reverse Can that be the converter

Jack up the truck and see if brakes are locked.. or just try pushing it if it rolls its probably a trans problem not a brake problem. could be the park prawl is broken in the Trans.

I have every gear except reverse in my 3.8L mustang conv. automatic. It was lost after getting stuck in a ditch (bad raccoon!)

If not done so, inspect for damage to linkage,cables, tubing and wires at transmissoion. You may be lucky there before seeking repairs.

The coolant temp sensor basicly tells the computer whe it's can move into the go mode. WWatch to see if there is a corresponding between the engine temp and the go mode. Good Luck, _Ned_
