Lights on the dash with key out sounds like ignition switch issue, but I would check the battery connections at both ends on both cables. Also make sure you have a good connection for chassis ground. If that is all good, suspect the ignition switch.
Suggest you look at battery 1st Remove Earth cable normally + sign, check the cable connection to the battery is clean inside & wire brush the battery where the cable fits see if that is your problem, only other thing is the battery no longer holding it's charge IE: you may need new battery. I'm not a car mechanic, but, it sounds like you might want to check the fuse to the ignition switch, and, if that fails, it might be a problem with the Start Safety Switch on the transmission. Good luck.
could be the battery still or it could be your battery head isnt contacting well. wen your rev the battery is good for some time and later thesame problem then i think your alternator isnt charging your battery which kills battery life span. try all this and if no charge get back to me.
The "clicking" is probably from the starter selinoid. If it's malfunctioning you'll get that clicking and nothing else. Follow cable back from starter to locate selinoid.
