2004 VW Bug leaking antifreeze. small puddles found every morning or after 8hr day under front passenger side of engine. Pressure tested and sealant added, no leak found by mechanic. Still leaking and...

the VW beetle has a plastic radiator, where the cap is if you look to the front of that it does a 90, it is cracked there. Here is the fun part, with a throx wrench ( I think it was a T-30) take apart the fenders and front bumper. At the auto parts store there is a plastic tank repair kit, the kit includes resign, fiber glass cloth, and a stick. You will need to rough up the crack as it is right where it angles and lay on the cloth and resign. Let it dry and it will not leak from there again. Good Luck Tim

Where is starter for 2001 VW Beetle turbo?

The starter is at the front of motor bottom of car directly behind radiator. You will need to remove the skid plate and go about 12 inches back from the bumper while under the car. The starter is a cylinder shaped and mounts to the bottom of the block in front of the oil pan.

2000 VW Beetle: Need info on replacing front bumper cover. How to explanation

to take off the front bumper the fenders must come off as well. they are attached to each other and then bolted to the car. From what i remember there were like 90 screws to take off. so basically remove the headlight and the turn signals. then remove about 90 torx screws and pull the hole thing off. thene remove the fenders from the bumper, put them on your new bumper and mount them in reverse order!

How do I replace the right front fender on my 2000 VW Beetle? It's cracked and I found a replacement. I know that the front part of the car needs to come off first, then the fender.

Need to remove the inside wheel liner to reveal all 13mm securing bolts. The front bumper needs to be the first part removed. It easy so don't fear easily. TIP: If you have a pressure washer, wash down the areas clean with simple green, it would be less trauma working on it. I do that even if it's a simple oil change, less cosmolyn (rust proofing) to deal with.

Headlamp replacement 1999 vw beetle

The headlight is actually a bulb inserted into a light module. You can remove the plastic light module by releasing the tension spring on the rear of the headliht housing inside your hood. Once the tension spring is released pull the plastic light module from the fender socket by gently pulling on the edges of the headlight. The module should pull out with some minor difficulty. Remove the bad bulb from the rear of the plastic bubble, and replace it with a new halogen bulb. Replace the module into the fender socket and reclip the tension spring(s). Not all that difficult of a job once you know how its accomplished.
