Question about Volkswagen Quantum
Front wheel drive then a good pull on a decent bar is sufficient ,if older rear wheel drive vehicle then this is different as they are taper bearings and sholud not be over tightened ,just pinch up till whell doesnt wobble when grasped at the top and bottom

Most mechanics just use an air impact and goes into it's set nice and snug. When I say nice and snug, I mean the axle is all the way into the back of the new hub and the nut is tight on the other side.

Caliper mount bolts are 74 ft/lbs
Driveshaft axle nut is 177 ft/lbs
Hub and bearing mounting bolts are 133 ft/lbs
