LOCATION OF FUEL FILTER IN CARINA E 92 Problem

Dang... Clean the throttle body/carburetor. Inside of it. Also the idle air control motor. Replace the air filter if dirty. You checked the wire for the coolant senor. Was it less then 5 Ohm's resistance? It is not the ECM or the sensor. Since it works OK after it gets warm. Do you use E85 fuel? Don't when it is below 40 degrees fareinhieght.

I believe it is attached to a support bracket for the dash behind the glove compartment.

the filter is located by the fuel tank under the car on the passenger side along the front side of the tank.

follow the fuel lines back from the carb/injectors, it should be near the top left of the engine bay.

go to the rear of the van try to locate the fuel lines under it follow them until you get to a large round cylider that should be it

The fuel filter lies under the big black flexable tube that carries the air to the throttle body on the engine. Remove that black tube, only 3 screws/nuts and then u will see the black filter there. Remove the nut that lies on top of the filter, then the one at the bottom. The bottom one is a bit hard to get to. Then remove the clamp that secures the filter to the car, again only 2 nuts/screws. Replace and reverse directions
