Trunk access from behind the seats

I cant figure out how to get my amp wires through to the trunk. Everyone says that you cant get through there because of the automatic back window but somehow, other people with del sol's have amps wired up through their trunks so there must be a way. Any ideas?

On both side behind the rear speakers, if u unbolt the speakers there is enough space that you can fit your arm through and make it poke out in the trunk....and in the trunk you just remove the carpet to get through, you can out that back when your done

Cables are not hook up to battery someone close trunk now cant get trunk open

Why are your battery cables off? Does the trunk have a key lock? With some makes and models, the rear seat back will fold down, allowing access to the trunk. If not, you may be able to remove rear seat back then see if you can access the trunk.

If the trunk release is electric, have to check wiring circuit and applicable fuse.

What is model year, I'll try to look up trunk release wiring circuit.

The radio harness is'nt behind the radio they say its in the trunk. i want to put in an after market stereo and cant find it can u tell me where it is?

Have you looked under the drivers seat ---I've had a few toyota's with them there --Stock GM though for some reason put some engine computers there too ---don't get them confused ---since you
may find both under there ---Most MR 2's had this and the computer in the rear trunk in front of the
liner --nice set-up too high and dry ---but if you got in 12" of water --well forget the stereo til it dries out --lol keep your sense of humor and repost with what kind of car ---Hawk

Speakers wont work cant figure it out

have you verified that sound is comming from radio. Start from the begining. Splice the wire from the radio check that audio is comming from the unit. Then check to see if you have a factory pre amp in the trunk or hidden under a seat or something like that. If all the electical parts are good just run new wire, its a lot faster than tracking down a crimp or break in the wire.

THIS IS ASUMING YOU HAVE ALREADY VERIFIED THAT THE SPEAKER ACTUALLY WORKS, YOU HAVE DONE THIS RIGHT.
