2002 Jetta Sl manual trans. I turned the car off while the radio was playing and when I returned after 15 minutes, the radio screen was blank and it didn't work. I pushed the button multiple times, but nothing. I can't find the fuse box.

Is it the stock radio? fuse box is near the hood release, check the diagram on the inner side of the fuse box plate to find out which fuse it is. If not a stock radio there's probably a blown fuse behind your deck.

What is the fuse number for radio in 2007 vw jetta automatic

Not sure which fuse it is, but it will be in your manual in the glove box. Your radio may need reset, though. Volkswagen has anti-theft radios and in some instances you will need to have them reset. Your manual in the glovebox will tell you if your radio has this feature.

Just has the battery replaced on 2005 Jetta at Sam's club. Now the radio does not work....entire audio screen is blank. Help!

Probably has an anti-theft code that needs to be entered. Check owners manual and other papers that came with it for an unlock code. You may have to go to dealer and they check your VIN# and give you the code as well.

The radio just turned off in my 02 vw jetts

This seems to be a common problem with this series of radio. If you open the drivers door and pop the fuse panel cover off the side of the dash, then locate fuse number 42 ( should be 25 amp). Remove the fuse, check to see if it is blown(it usually isn't), if it isn't blown leave it out for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then reinstall. Hope this helps it worked on my 02 Jetta TDI.

2001 Jetta 1.8T, 100K miles. Smokes when hot.

Ouch! you've got engine coolant in the exhaust from a leak somewhere...DO NOT run this engine until you get someone (dealer is best in this instance) to diagnose ($50-125)

2002 vw jetta radio panel does not turn on nor the radio works.

Fuse number 42 is for the radio reset. Pull it out and put it back in. It's a warranty problem, expired now no doubt.
