The drivers side seat on my 2003 Hyundai Elantra seems to be broken somewhere underneith because the back right side of the seat is able to be pushed up and down even when the seat is completely locked in to an adjustment notch and the track is on right. I was wondering how i might go about taking the whole drivers seat out so i can look at the bottom side and see what is wrong or if something is broken.

SOURCE: my drivers side seat belt is not retracting on my 2005 hyundai el

Most of the time this happens because the belt gets twisted behind the B pillar trim panel. The lower portion of the panel that the belt goes behind can be removed enough to see behind it by gently pulling outward, it is held in place with plastic clips. If the belt is twisted up in there, untwist it and snap the panel back in place.

2003 Hyundai Elantra. I went through a flood. Alternator okay, new computer, looking for fusible links?

Here is the fuse box diagram, but the Elantra appears to have a rather funky battery fuse! Most vehicles have a main battery fuse but it is on the battery connector wire. If you put in a new ECM, was it programmed to the vehicle?

The driver's seat in my 2003 Hyundai Elantra will not adjust. A few days ago, the seat seemed to snap and now the seat adjusters don't work and I can no longer raise the front edge of the seat. Is this...

if you take the seat right out of the car and turn it upside down you can see quite plainly how it is covered/sprung and how the adjusters work(wire cables)once out,you really cant make any mistakes as you can see it all.

HOW TO ADJUST DRIVER'S SEAT IN HYUNDAI ELANTRA

There is a lever on the left side by your **** that tilts the seat forward or back. There are knobs on the side that you turn to raise the seat front up or down, there is a handle under the front of the seat that you either pull up or pull to the left to slide the seat front or back. And depending on the seat there might be a lever on the left side of the seat back that controls how much lumbar support.
