My 2004 Hyundai Tiburon driver side window gradually quit working. The window would only roll up and down with power button whenever it wanted and would stop wherever it wanted. Like it was trying but couldnt. I could get it to roll up or down by beating on the door panel but eventually that stopped working too. My ash tray light went out too. As a smoker I really need my window working and an ash tray light. Thanks!

SOURCE: I have an 04 hyundai tiburon and the driver side

Hello There,

When you bought the car and the dealer sent it for rust proofing etc, they would have put the cables which connect the power windows to the fuse box back together loosely, this is a usual occurrence and a tricky way to get you back and have this and that changed and put you out of pocket. all you need to do is have a trusted mechanic take the inside part of the door off. It unclicks quite easily. and have them reconnect the cables properly. You should never have a problem with your window again.

Cheers Buckaroo,
Chris.

2004 Tiburon: where is the 04 hyundai tiburon 2nd fuse box?...

Hi There,

You will find the second fuse box on the right hand side of the steering wheel (australian - left hand side if in america) located underneath the power "mirrors" button. Follow the side power "mirrors" button down until you reach a false wall, unfasten this. another word for this is the "fascia"

Hope this helps

I replaced the driver's side window motor because

I don't know everything there is to know about window motors, but I have seen this before, both mine went out at the same time, not together but a couple weeks apart, like they were dated. Anyway, I replaced both motors, then both operators. Now they both work fine. I would hang on to the old motor, you never know, it might be good, You might have a bad switch on the door, I had to take my switches apart on my other truck and clean the contacts, got both motors working again, Hope this helps.

Passenger side window won't roll up using the driver's side switc

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
