Windscreen washers not working on Hyundai Matrix, back and front. Where is the fuse? I can't find one in fuse box.

If it is the same as some other Chevrolets they have 2 pumps attached to the side of the washer bottle. 1 for rear and 1 for front windscreen

i have a hyundai matrix 2002 too and this morning as I drove in a light came on on the dash with a picture of an engine and the word 'check. What could be the problem?

It sounds as if there is a blockage either in the base of the screenwash reservoir or the feed pipe from the reservoir. You could remove the screenwash reservoir tank and clean it out and at the same time check the pipe.

try taking a pin and cleaning the holes on the squirters and if that does not work check the washer pump it is located on the washer fluid tank

If you dont have access to compressed air and a blow gun , to blow down the jets, then use a needle and try to clear the jets, and then try the wshers, you will have to adjust the jets after. If you still have nothing, or it is very weak, then remove the pipe and blow down it , also with the pipe off, try the washer pump to see if it is pumping strongly, because, although the pump is working/making a noise, it may be too weak, in which case you will need to replace the pump.
