SOURCE: FORD CAPRI 1990
My wife had a mid 80's capri and the latch/release button was on the drivers side door pillar at the back of the door near the bottom of the pillar, the door had to be open to see it, there was a second one that we only found when selling the car on the bottom of the drivers side door arm rest. Not sure if that helps as yours is newer but it might give you a couple of more places to start. On my son's Mercury Topaz you have to open the glovebox and push a semi=concealed button on the right..Those lovely engineers at Ford! lol...

Hi,
Being this a 2010 vehicle I am assuming it is still under full warranty, being that it is. Take it to a dealership and have them fix the problem under warranty. It isn't necessary to take a risk doing damage and voiding your warranty for something that is covered. try lock-tite on the screws when you do put them in.
Thank you,
Lee

Hi,
Is the vehicle under warranty? If so the only thing I would recommend is taking it straight to a dealer. That is why you buy a new car, for a new car warranty.
Thank you,
Lee
SOURCE: 2001 dodge viper, how do you open hood
You have your first hood release inside the car and at the front of the car you have to lift the hood a bit to release the emergency latch. The hood should now open. Don't forget that the hood opens from the windshield side of the hood.
SOURCE: I dont see how to
The bonnet release lever should be on the door frame of the drivers door near the accelerator pedal.
