Thanks, however, the fuse I need to change is the Alt Fuse (120A), which is bolted to the bottom of the fuse box, that is why I am trying to remove the fuse box. Lexus doesnt seem to make anything easy.
REMOVE BATTERY TO REMOVE OTHER FUSE BOX SCREWS.
thanks- I finally found the last screw (behind the air-filter, which had to be removed), and got the fuse replaced. Unfortunately, this didnt fix the problem. the car still won't start- there doesnt seem to be power anywhere, other than the lights and the A/C.
I think I am giving up and calling a tow!
thanks for your help...

One Last update. I decided to go ahead and take everything apart again and check the wires to the fuse, and sure enough, the wire on one side of the fuse was not connected to the screw, and of course, that was a problem! I went ahead and put the wire where it was supposed to go and whalla!, everything (except the radio) is working. I am guessing the radio has it's own fuse, but I will worry about that another day.
Thanks again for your help-

Start by removing the coin tray on the left side of the steering wheel. Next remove the socket that the coin tray sits in, it should be fairly apparent how it comes out, there are just a couple screws holding it in that are visible as soon as you remove your coin tray. After you get the coin tray holder out, another couple screws become visible, remove them, along with 2 others on the left side of the steering wheel (we are removing the entire lower dash panel under the steering wheel). The top screw on the left side is hidden under a small pop-out blank cover, the lower screw you will be able to see by simply bending down under the bottom of the dash section. This whole panel should come off as soon as you have all of these screws removed. If it doesn't want to come off, you missed a screw or 2, look harder.
Once this panel is off, look at your fuse box. Now look to the right of the large group of fuses in the main panel, behind the A/C air duct. You should see 3 square fuses, 2 green and one pink. The pink fuse is in the middle between the green ones and is your power window and door lock fuse.--------------
Remove and replace this fuse with new fuse. Its easily available fuse from local auto part store. Its a 30 amp fuse.---------
But if you replace the fuse and still the problem, then its a possibility that window switch is faulty and it has to be replaced.----------- Check the fuse for 12 volt.--- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
