Did you remove the bolts connecting the flywheel to the torque converter? The converter
slides back off the motor along with the transmission for most GM's.
Also there should be two alignment dowels which protrude approximately 3/4 inch off
the back of the block. After making sure the flywheel is disconnected, usually you can
rock the transmission (secured to a transmission jack of course) side to side to break it
free. If you need to unbolt the torque converter you can rotate the engine with a
breaker bar on the crankshaft pulley bolt. Hope this helps.

Can a 94 chevy cheyenne transmission interchange with a 97 chevy silverado tranmission

Will it physically fit? yes. Will it be a direct replacement any everything hook right up and plug right in? If we are talking about an automatic then no. 1994's wiring was completely different than the 1997. Can it be made to work? possible, but I believe it would be more trouble trying to make it work than if the correct transmission were located and installed. If it is a cost issue where he has a good trans out of a 1994 he might see if a salvage yard will do some partial trading for the correct trans.

How to replace a heater core in a 1994 chevy 1500

As with all vehicles it seems the first part that they build around is the heater core. It is under the dash above the floor housed in a black plastic sealed box. Sealed with goop. Locate that box and start removing everything around it that is peventing taking the cover off. Of course disconnect the heater hoses under the hood a thefirewall.

Warning it is never as easy as it sounds.

Not sure?

to 94 chevy have you checked fuel pump? car must be turned off . With key in off position turn key to acc position, radio must be turned off. when key is in acc position you should hear small hum for about 15 to20 sec then it shuts off .This means fuel pump is working. This should happen every time you turn the key switch. If you have pump noise, I would look under the distributor there are two sets of wires that is your spark modulator . remove distributor cap 2 screws on driver side removes it take it to autozona/ checker auto and they will check it

How do i remove the transmission pan on my 1999 chevy silverado?

First you have to get break all your knuckles trying to get the shift linkage out, to do that there is two T40 Torx screws on the top side of the oil pan (driver side) second you have to manage to get the drain plug, easier said then done. The pieces of **** at chevy torque it down to like a 100 ft poulds. Better go get a new plug before you even start, its about 8 bucks. Then remove the 20 or so bolts holding the pan up... Your life is made easier if you remove the drive shaft (4x4) which unless you are magic you must remove the exaust pipe.... All and all its not a fun job... it pretty much sucks. Once all is out you can remove the fluid filter, make sure you remove the O'ring as well.... Then put it all together.... its way easier said then done... When ur finished add on to your to do list to "Punch a Chevy engineer in the face."
