The 1st thing you need to do is have the refrigerant charge in the system checked, if the charge is low the compressor will not engage. This year and model is prone to leaks at the AC refrigerant line connection and at the AC Condenser core.

2004 sebring air conditioner stops and starts

Low freon will cause the compressor to short cycle, when the compressor runs the pressure in the low line is pulled down and the low pressure switch turns it off. Not running the pressure builds up and turns it back on. In the old days there was no low pressure switch, with no freon to carry the oil the compressor was destroyed.

I have ingaged my ac clutch i cant get the air cold i have put freon in it but it wont take more that 35 lbs any ideas

I sure hope you don't mean 35 lbs of freon !
When the ac compressor is running, the low side will read 30-45 psi under normal conditions. The high side should be around 250psi.
You need to be able to check both low and high to see if the system is full of freon. It holds around 4 or 5 cans total depending on make and model. Thats about 3 lbs.

My air conditioner is blowing warm air on the driver side and cold on the passenger side

see this steps and think with clearly and logically NOT feared. God bless you
checkmark.gif Start with the compressor. Does it engage when you turn on the A/C?
If so, the compressor is working and the A/C system probably contains enough refrigerant to make cold air, so the problem is inside the HVAC unit. Replace the motor that controls the blend air door (this is a difficult job and best left to a professional since it involves tearing apart the HVAC unit -- about an 8 to 10 hour job!).
If the compressor does not engage when you turn on the A/C, see if it will run by jumping the compressor clutch wire directly to the battery (use a fused jumper wire). If the compressor works when you jump it, and the A/C blows cold air, the system contains refrigerant and the fault is likely a bad A/C compressor clutch relay or a bad clutch cycling switch or pressure switch.
If the compressor does not engage when you jump it, the problem is a bad compressor clutch.
If the clutch engages but the compressor does not turn (the belt will start to slip and squeal), the compressor is locked up and you need a new compressor.
If the compressor clutch engages and turns the compressor, but the A/C still does not blow cold air, the system is probably low on refrigerant and needs to be recharged.

Air conditioning compressor pump clutch not ingaging

sounds like you are low on freon, that would be the fist place to go. the system has a low pressure switch that when the freon gets low it will not allow the compressor clutch to engage.

Air conditioner compressor seems to quit after 1 to 2 hours driving-blower stll runs, but cold air stops green compressor lite is still on, but no cold air-turn off ac for 20 to 30 minutus, comes back on...

Sounds like the air gap on the compressor clutch is to wide, when the compressor turns off to recycle the electromagnet on the clutch is not strong enough to pull the air gap and lock up compressor. The air gap is adjustable and should be checked.

Ac blowing hot air. System was charges,

If the a/c is properly charged, the failure of the temperature actuator for the HVAC system would cause this symptom.
