I would check the blower motor resistor. They are very common for causing the blower motor from working correctly. Most commonly when the resistor fails you will only have the high speed function for the blower motor, but I have also run into the resistor completely failing with no speeds functional. The blower motor resistor is located on the passenger side under the glove box. It is mounted very close to the blower motor. There will be 2 screws holding it into the heater box assembly. Hopefully this helps you out
One suggestion. Have you checked the fuses ?
I would check the AC or blower fuse to start with. If you have the drivers manual it will show you where the fuse box is. Typically there are at least two boxes to check. One in the Engine compartment and one in the passenger cabin.
Look inside the lid of the fuse box to see which fuse may apply to the AC circuits or the blower and check to see if they are blow. the metal link between the two posts that plug in. If the link is missing you need to replace the fuse with one of the same rating. Make sure you know where you took the fuse out from and put it back in the same slot if its good. Check all the main fuses if possible to see if any have blown and replace if they have.
Check the fuse or the blower motor resistor, which is located on the floor under the glove box. If it's not either one of those, it could be a short or the blower motor itself has gone out.
I seem to always have problems with the air conditioner in my car. I need to get it repaired soon. I have tried to fix it myself the last few times, but so far it hasn't worked. I may just have someone else do it. I think my dad would know more than me.

If your car air conditioning vents blows out warm air when your car engine is hot or under a lot of stress, this means that your car is equipped with a safety feature that shut off your air conditioning compressor when your car engine is hot or under a lot of stress thus no problem in your car air conditioning system.
However if your car air conditioning vents blows out warm air even if your car engine is not under a lot of stress or within the operating temperature then that’s a different story and this means a problem.
More often this kind of problem can be traced depending on the behavior of your car air conditioning system. If your car air conditioning vents initially blows out cold air then after quite a while it starts to blow out warm air then the problem can be traced to a freezing up expansion valve.
If your air conditioning expansion valve freezes up the flow of refrigerant to the air conditioning lines will be block temporarily thus causing your car air conditioning vents to blow out cold air initially then afterward begins to blow out warm air.

mine is a 93 altima. Where do you look in the engine compartment for fuses? also, does anyone have a diagram, so I can see what fuse goes to what?
I turn on the ac and the blower works just warm air or hot if I adjust the temperture , But never cold , I noticed that the ac fan under the hood does'nt turn on. I checked all fuses and their good.
My nissan 2000 xterra also has warm ac air blowing after ac freon was replaced for $150, then I noticed the fan behind the radiator does not come on, and then the fan clutch disengages, and warm air blows. This problem blows, can anyone find the relay or fuse that controls this??
thanks kindly

That's too bad that your Nissan's air conditioning has completely stopped working. My own car has been struggling to pump out cold air lately. It'd probably be a good idea for us to find somewhere to take our vehicles in and get the heating and cooling looked at and fixed. http://www.wbrandaircon.com.au/automotiv...
