I have a 2003 Audi A6 Quattro. 1. The dash board alert screen is a digital red. It is very hard to read. Is there any way I can make this screen brighter and bolder? I have already adjusted the knob for the dash lighting. This did not help. 2. Every so often when I use my blinkers, I have alot of static or what sounds like static coming from the dash board. What is this and how can I fix this? 3. Where can I get the seperate Bose system manual? It didn't come with my used Audi.

It's probably your brake check switch going bad, it's under the driver's side dash above the brake pedal. I had the same problem and eventually my cruise control and brake lights stopped working when it failed completely. This is also a redesigned part that you can get from the dealer for about $8, which to me indicates they new the part caused problems and failed to notify owners. Try that before Audit tries telling you wires are faulty.

SOURCE: how do i change time on clock on 2005 audi a6 quattro s line

I think I can help you. I just did this on mine yesterday because my clock runs a few minutes fast each month. It was somewhere bizarre - sorry I'm not near the car to be more clear. I think I picked Sound, Settings and for some odd reason, it was there, rather than in Car, Settings. NOOO - it was in Tuning - click the AM/FM button, then Settings. I've only had it for a few months, but you'd think I'd have that one figured out due to re-setting it.

SOURCE: Audi A6 quattro 1999 the ABS light is on and the

That indicates that the ABS controller is having issues. The ABS controller is the metal box along the driver's side of the engine, just in front of the coolant overflow tank. The controller is the black box on top of it with the harness attached. You can buy a new one (expensive) or send yours to www.modulemaster.com for a warrantied rebuild. They have a great reputation on the Audi forums I frequent, and you can drive the car while it's gone (you just won't have functioning ABS while it's gone).
