2002 ford explorer hego,vmv,cms,ptec fuse keeps blowing

dead short after the fuse
isolate each item that the fuse runs until you find the faulty unit

No , it has nothing to do with power seats , feed's PCM power relay ,PCM module power diode , vapor management valve , heated O2 sensor . (EVR ) electric vacuum reg. valve , EVAP . canister vent valve . Your best bet , have a qualified repair shop check it out .

I would take it to a auto store and they can check your battery circuit for free to see what the problem could be they will hook up a tester that will check the circuit out.

fusee blow because of excess current caused by a short either in the wires after the fuse or in the equipment that the fuses controls.

In the power distribution box in the engine compartment : fuse # 41 is a 15 amp fuse for HEGO ( Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen - sensors ) , VMV ( Vapor Management Valve ) , CMS ? and PTEC ( which I believe stands for Powertrain Electronic Controller )

It sounds to me like a direct short I think you need a sparky to keep the cost down

try a bigger amp fuse

You only replace, any fuse once

Then you get a wiring diagram
of that circuit, and start to diagnose
the possible cause

Do you have fuel pressure?
Can you use the truck at all ?

Can't believe FORD would just replace the fuse an send you on your way ! You must have not wanted work done they suggested . Cost too much for diagnostic's ! Because I work at a ford dealer , you have a short to ground somewhere in the insturment cluster or wiring .Why didn't you have them fix it ? An what is it you want to know ?
