2000 chevy silverado 5.3l have no ignition spark

Check the fuel pressure at the engine and plugs for spark (ignition module).

Lots of possibilities: Fuel pump or bad wiring to the fuel pump. CKP sensor or wiring to CKP sensor. Ignition module. Check for fuel and spark. These are basic no-start chevy truck checks.

black sloot on plugs is a sign of weak ignition. ignition control module. if it is wet and black then that is iol. which is valve seals

check ignition fuse to coil and check see if power getting to coil if yes ignition coil or ignition module faulty.if no power getting to coil and ignition module more likely you have blowed ignition fuse or faulty wiring from ignition fuse box terminal to the ignition coil and module.

Replace the ignition module.

check for weak spark[s] if fuel delivery is fine then ur problem would lie with the ignition weak or bad spark would cause start problems

May want to check your oxygen sensors to make sure they are not shot.

How about the MAP SENSOR? Do you check it out?

third back pass side the coil is probably bad if you have a miss code common problem
