SOURCE: wipers stay on

Hi,
There are several possible causes, and maybe a fault code scan would help. You did not say whether the intermittent wipe and various speeds work - do they? In the meantime, check that the wiper stalk is in the correct position.
You could also try removing the front wiper relay to see if that stops them - if so get an auto electrician to try a replacement relay before buying it ;-)
and you could try removing the "rear" wiper fuse - yes rear, if your car has rear wipers. Then please let me know if any of these ideas had an effect! Well take it from there. Thanks, D

SOURCE: wipers stay on

Hello,my friend's car has also this problem but it solved.
When he turned the wiper on nothing has happened.
Problem was the wiper motor has stucked. We had to took out all the wiper's mechanic(3 screws) and disassemble it.One of the bronze sleeve was very rusty and after that is has been broken.
Now it works perfectly with one sleeve.:-D

SOURCE: Wipers are not working

take out the bolt out of the wiper arm and check the spline, if the spline appears to be worn out, replace the wiper arm and tighten it. take caution in tightening the bolt for you might crack the windshield. goodluck!

Keith, try removing the fuse for the wipers and put back in and see if that does anything for the motor. If it doesn't help replace the motor

My 2006 citi golf rear and front wipers not working

If your 2006 Citi Golf's front and rear wipers, as well as the wash motors, are not working, there are a few possible causes that you can check:
  1. Check the wiper motor: The wiper motor is responsible for moving the wipers. If the motor is not functioning properly, the wipers will not work. You can test the motor using a multimeter to see if it is getting power and check for any visible damage.
  2. Check the wiper switch: The wiper switch is located on the steering column or the dashboard and is used to control the wipers. If the switch is not working properly, the wipers will not function. You can test the switch with a multimeter to see if it is sending power to the wiper motor.
  3. Check the relay: The relay is an electronic component that controls the power to the wipers. If the relay is faulty, the wipers will not work. You can test the relay with a multimeter to see if it is functioning properly.
  4. Check the wiring: Make sure all the wiring is connected properly, and check for any damage or loose connections.
  5. Check the wash motor : check if the wash motor is getting power and if it is working properly.
If you're unable to locate the problem or if the problem persists, it's best to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic to diagnose and repair the issue.

VW golf Window washer not working

You may have a problem with the communication link from main module(electrics) to the wiper motor or the wiper motor could be a culprit. Also make sure that the wiper motor fuse is good. It needs to be scanned for code to make sure there is a communication link.
