How to remove a starter motor peugeot 207

Before getting to the removal process, make sure that you have enough time and the tools at hand, and then disconnect the battery.
You will need spanners sized at 10, 11, 12, and 14 millimeters, an eight-millimeter socket, eight milimeter Allen bolt, and small torque.
Next, get to the starter motor under the hood, beneath the diesel filter.
It can difficult to unmount it because there is barely enough room, that's why this process alone can take up to four hours.
First, unwind the starter bolts located under the hood, then do the bolts below. It goes without saying that you need your car to be raised.
Once the motor is loose, remove the wiring from the engine that may hinder the job.
Make a note of all parts and remember where they belong to help you easily reattach the motor once you have fixed the issue.

Peugeot 205cc the starter motor just klicks when you turn the key. all so were is the starter located ?

Follow the positive cable and it willlead you to the stater that you need to remove and install a new solenoid switch on.Bolts to the transmission housing but by following the largest positive wire i'm sure you will find it,probably need the car off the ground, but not always.

Peugeot 206 2001 petrol intermitant fault with starter motor

If the starter motor is sticking, it can draw a large current. If there is power down to the starter motor while its not starting then the starter is faulty. You can test this with a multimeter or just a test bulb connected to the smaller of the two wires on the starter, while cranking.Check you have a good earth from the battery to the engine. If the bulb lights up but no engine cranking then its a faulty starter.

Peugeot 405 srdt

There should be three bolts on the starter motor. The all face the same direction and should be in a pattern with one on the bottom, one up and to the side and one directly above the bottom one at the very top of the starter. You may have to move the exhaust pipe or certain lines to get enough room to get it out to test it. Let me know if you have questions with this. You are going to want to get it from underneath the car
