Where is the fuse for power windows located on 1998 Lincoln town car

Fuse boxes are typically located under hood and under dash

it is a relay that normally doesnt fail,if none of your windows work quite often the master switch has gone bad

Under the hood in the power distribution box located on top of the fender on the drivers side.

its in the fuse box and should be clearly labled along with all the fuses relays are large and usualy black or grey they pull out just like a fuse to test it with a 2nd person press the window switch with the engine off you should hear it click if it clicks its working

fuse circuits... Clean & service your main GROUND
and Battery Cables...

Base no concerns on the DRIVER's window
switch... It is the most heavily used/abused switch
on EVERY Vehicle... everywhere:

remove the door panel,, locate the 2 wires that go to the window motor use a 12 volt power supply with at least 10 amps,, reverse the wires to either go up or down, your problem if it is a switch not the motor, can be solved doing this, ( if you don't have a 12 volt power supply, use jumper cables and your battery ,, use insulated clips to touch the wire connection for the motor so you don't short it out , replace the switch

Did you check to see if you had power to the horn? There is also a horn relay in your fuse control center under the hood. If you have your owners manual look in it and it will show you where the location is at.

Hi, the horn fuse is located under the hood, number 18 and is a 15amp rated mini-fuse. To find the location look at the bottom of the plastic fuse lid for number 18.

Find the fuse box and check all fuses with a test light; make sure they are not blown. I would think there are label on the holder or cover identifying each fuse. If all test good, remove radio from car and check for power there with the switch on ACC or ON. Let me know.
