I have a 07 Entourage and I have now gone through 7 low beam headlihts in just about 2 years. I am too the point of wantingt sell it. Not to mention my doors not opening in the winter, really sucks when you have four kids climbing across your seat to get in and out. Door trim keeps falling off. Husband had to tear the door apart to get it to open. Other than that I am happy with it. But I NEED headlights!!

I'v had the same problems with my 2007 entourage. Changing headlight bulbs every few months, and the doors not opening when it's cold or not closing once it's open. I love my vehicle otherwise good lasting engine. Just the door and headlights I thought I was the only one having this problem.

Why do my headlight burns out often

My personal experience the headlights burn out frequently because it's a Hyundai. I have a 2005 Elantra (105K) and a 2007 Santa Fe (135K), and I have replaced headlights in both of those cars more than all of the 20+ other cars I have owned in my lifetime. I never touch a new bulb when replacing them, the sockets are all fine, they're just Hyundais and electric/wiring reliability is not in their capabilities. I keep a spare set of headlights in each of the cars. It's so bad that the cashier at the parts store asked me about 5 years ago if I had a Hyundai. She had the same problem with her Elantra.

Why does 2003 Acura TL low beam right headlight keeps burning out?

Your ignitor and control unit for that headlight is going bad. Replace those with a new bulb and you will be good to go. Its number 4 in the picture.b41df67d-b738-4d7f-9e4d-7f0a23de09ae.png

Honda accord keep burning low beam headlights

Sounds to me like you need to reset the headlight housings... maybe they are vibrating very badly. ... OR, easy fix, get NEW headlight housings on EBay and install.

Both my main headlights went out. Is it the lights, a fuse, or electrical?

Hi-

How does the fuse look? If it is the fuse, then other items would be out as well.

If there is a relay, it may have gone out and you just have to replace it.

If the lights have gone out, you will know because the halogen bulb will be dark on the inside of the glass. These both may have gone out at he exact same time. Low Probability, but possible as the car is 4 years old.
Hope this helps.

Bulbs keep burning out

When you replace headlights in today's cars, DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS OF THE BULB!. Handle the bulb only with the packing material the bulb ships in, or with a clean dry cloth. The oils in your skin will cause premature failure of the bulb.

Also, check the sockets (car side) carefully to make sure they are not burned.

Both of my headlights burned out about the same time a year and a half ago. I then replaced a few months ago, now the other one blew. It seems that these two lights both burned out too soon. Possible...

I've got a 2001 Elantra that "eats" headlights. Within the last five years, I've probably replaced both headlights 10-15 times. Last time I bought bulbs, the clerk at the Auto Zone recommended coating the connection points of the bulbs in electrical grease (which is different than regular grease). It's usually sold in small foil packages at the check-outs. Anyway, this seemed to prolong the life of the bulbs by 3-4 times. It's a cheap fix that didn't completely solved the problem, but sure cut down on the number of bulb replacements.
