Hello,
Should be a 20Amp fuse in the fuse panel located on the passenger side of the dash. open the passenger door and look on the 90 degree angle part of the dash.

Pull the access panel off and the fuse panel is right there.

I have a 1999 Buick Century. When I plug my GPS power adapter into the cigarette lighter outlet, I blow the fuse. ---Can you suggest a solution? ---How many amps are in that...

Probably a 15 to 20 amps..If you use the cigarette lighter does it also blow the fuse ,you may have a short in the circuit..It should be able to handle the GPS..Dont increase the fuse size, you can cause bigger problems

Which fuse is for my cigarette lighter?

It should be a very high value fuse, somewhere above 20 amps, but all fuses shoud be indicated on the cover of the fuse box, if not spelled out, then at least by a pictogram. Otherwise just check through the fuses one by one and look for the blown one - the should be a fuse remover tool in the fuse box.

FRONT HEAD LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING AND CIGARETTE LIGHTER NOT WORKING

i would think a fuse is the culprit behind that check t your fuses and relays for the headlights... it may also be a short in the wiring as far the headlights go.. or quiet possibly the lights have blown

95 buick regal cigarette lighter. replaced fuse. went to 3 different places, got 3 different replacements-no go... any ideas? thank you.

Without the fuse in it, use a polarity checker to check contact made from each end (end where fuse is and center of female lighter receptacle...THEN IF there is no current flowing, the entire unit is defective..replace from a wrecking yard...easy to do...

I CANNOT LOACTE THE FUSE FOR MY CIGARETTE LIGHTER IN MY 2005 BUICK RENDEZVOUS

Chances are the cigarette lighter fuse is also protecting another circuit, visually check each fuse, or check with your local parts store and see if they have a manual with the fuse. Also the lighter itself could be bad. Your local library may also have a manual shopwing which fuse it is. mcdevito75
