Well i had to rewire a 2006 model last week as to import it into europe the back lights have to be yellow indicators and seperate with a seperate fog light ,what a job ,anyway behind the fron kicker platre passenger side was the fuse box ,or one of then and their was a big heavy fuse for the amplifier and a lighter one for the radio marked up in the hand book ,what number ?' i do not remember ,the exhaust has to changed as well but iam waiting for them as max noise permitted toi new laws is 92decibels ,its been dropped from 96 so its a special rear box from a special agent in germany for these cars.Yet you ever heard a masarati or a ferrari taking off ,thesy have button on the dash that opens the exhaust and noisey or what ,well flash italians what else do expect

How is 2001 Mustang GT parasitic draw on battery related somehow to FU 27 and FU39? Battery drains overnight but I cannot narrow down a faulty component.

Allfordmustangs.com has an article if you Web search your car with fuse 27 and 32 as part of the search. It blames the GEM as part of the problem(wiper) and also points out that the radio has several power feeds. Fuse 27 is hot all the time, but fuse 32 is only hot in ACC or Run. So as long as you can test fuse 32 to be hot in only Acc or Run, it should not drain the battery in Off position. You might want to test the ignition switch to verify it is really turned off.

The all mustangs article had different symptoms, as you did not indicate whether the fuses popped.

The wiper motor is suppose to derail and turn off. If you can unplug the wiper motor overnight and the battery stays up, you would know that it is either the wiper motor or wiper control. The radio is on the other fuse circuit. But whether the radio can drain a battery in a short time, you need to measure draw, but if the fuse pops, the battery should stay up. Again, disconnecting a circuit like a radio, and then having the battery stay up, would point to the radio circuit being at fault.

@novo07 mustang v6 shaker 500 radio 6cd changer, complete battery dead. after jump, radio wont come on at all. dead. Bought new battery, still no radio at all. all else works, fuses are good in kickpanel...

you may have blown an internal fuse on the radio. sometimes radios have an inline fuse on the red wire, located behind the radio. You must remove it to discover this problem though.

Where is the fuse for a 2001 ford 4.6litre mustang(fuel fuse)

The fuse for the fuel pump is located in the power distribution box/fuse box located in the engine compartment. It is in the number 14 position and should be a 20 amp fuse (see picture below of the fuse layout). Also, I don't know if you have checked this or not but there is a fuel pump cut off switch located in the trunk of the vehicle. I gave you a picture of its location in the second picture below. This should all be in your owners manual if you have one. If you do not and would like a copy, you can email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. I hope this helps you and good luck.

Windows wont go up on 2001 ford mustang dont have fuse diagram

The fuse for the power windows is a 40 amp. fuse in the fuse/relay box located under the hood on the drivers side of your vechicle.
It's the first top fuse (position 12) next to the relays.
To see a fuse block diagram go to this FREE Ford website and download the owners manual for your vechicle. It's location in the manual is "roadside emergencies" page 136.

Electronc flasher

The electronic flasher fuse is at location 13 in the fuse box. The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses

The Flasher Relay is located on the passanger side behind the center console(radio and climate control stuff)....it is a 2 prong, pale green cylinder relay with a square nipple attaching it to a piece of metal to keep it in place. If you open the passanger side and lean into the floor board and look up over the main support brackets for the radio it should be right there. It has a wire attached to it. It may even have "FLASHER" printed on it. If anyone made changes to the radio or other electronics, it may be moved.
