SOURCE: 2002 Dodge Stratus R/T Spark Plugs

Tom,
The spark plugs for that vehicle is Champions. Not anything fancy, just a resistor copper core plugs. DO NOT INSTALL DOUBLE OR SINGLE PLATINUM PLUGS. No bosch, no splitfire, nothing but the champion plug.

ANy other plug and you will start have random misfire codes and other "weird little problems".

I have been a shop owner for years and I tell you this because i have fixed weild little problems just by installing the correct plug. ]
You should change the plugs every 30K miles as well. Look in your owners manual and it should tell you your service schedule
Good luck

SOURCE: changing spark plugs

look under hood..you will see wires coming from distributor cap on top into your motor..if its an 8 cylinder there will be 4 in the back and 4 in the front.6 cylinder-3 in front 3 in back.get a 5/16 spark plug wrench and socket.you will need extension to reach back ones.if you bought new wires from parts store it will be even easier to find where plugs are located because you can compare the ones you bought and easier find the wires under the hood.the wire gets fatter as it goes into the motor.grab the fat part firmly and pull it off.boom theres your spark plugs.use your spark plug socket(5/16) with extension/ratchet and turn the plug until it comes out.do not break the plug or it will not come out.when you put a new one in screw it hand tight then 1 crank tight with the ratchet.when you change your wires do them one at a time as to avoid switching the wires up.on top of the distributor cap(where the wires lead to) there will be numbers as to what wire is for what cylinder...change plugs/wires 1 at a time dont take off more than 1 wire at a time!hope this helped!

SOURCE: how to change spark plugs on 2006 dodge magnum v6

you are going to have to take it to a shop unless yo have the tools and the time to take the covers off that are on the engine then follow the wires from the distributor to the spark plugs and do them one at a time.

How to change spark plugs 2006 dodge stratus 2.7

It's pretty tricky but I think I just used a six inch extension on my flex head ratchet and you can get to them between the intake runners. Make sure to use a good socket that will hold the plug in it.

My 2006 dodge stratus wont start. it just died on me while i was driving. i changed the spark plugs and it would act as if it wants to start but wont turn over. it says P0340 on the diagnostic. pleases...

Battery or alternator? is probably the problem......try jumping it and if it still dies replace alternator...but dont forget to check all wires coming from battery and cleaning them....

pull the car up on ramps, lay under the car and reach up between the firewall and the motor. you will need swivels and extensions to get up in there.. plan on a couple hours.

Replace rear spark plugs on 2.7 liter 2006 dodge stratus

I have a 2001 Stratus with the 2.7L V6. From what I understand, the engine compartments are very similar. When I change the rear spark plugs, I have found that I need to use a spark plug socket on a 6" extension, with an elbow socket. There isn't enough space in the engine bay to get straight over the spark plugs, and I have yet to find an easier way than simply using a elbow socket.

When installing new spark plugs, it's always a good idea to use a small amount of anti-seize on the threads.
