Your security system has locked itself. You will have to go to the dealer and have them reset the computer.

Electrical problems with 2002 dodge dakota 4x4 quad cab 3.9v6

The Central Timer Module (CTM, called BCM on some vehicles) supports or controls:
Automatic door lock/central locking
Battery protection
Chimes
Exterior lights (park lamps, fog lamps, headlamps)
Interior lights
Intermittent wiper control
Power lock control
Remote keyless entry (RKE)
Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS)
Remote radio control (from steering wheel)

It covers all the problems you described except the 4WD controls. I suspect you may want to have the CTM checked, or do like I did and just replace it (used about $75-$100 on eBay). Make sure you get the part number on yours and match the number portion (not necessarily the two letter suffix) EXACTLY.
It should be located behind the kick panel to the left of the driver's feet (that's where it is on my 2003 Dakota), but may be to the right of the glove box (have to remove the glove box to get to it).

04 Honda Accord EX : The cruise control master switch clicks off immediately after it is pressed; the air bag light comes on and stays on for several days and then goes off all to start the cycle again;...

your problem is a part called a clock spring located underneath the steering wheel.best to have a shop replace it for you, special wheel puller is required to remove the steering wheel, this part carries wires for all controls and air bag that are control by the steer wheel buttons.

My 2007 silverado was fine when i parked it last nite..now it wont start..plenty of battery and lights..but no ignition..and the steering wheel is not locked when in park..it will not start in park, or...

The steering wheel will not "lock" until you turn it about 45 degrees from center...this is normal. If your security light is flashing, there is a problem with your security system that is keeping you from starting the engine. Try this: Set the parking brake. Turn the ignition to the "RUN" position and wait about 10 minutes for the security light to stop flashing. When the light stops flashing, crank the engine without turning the key to the off position. If it starts, take the vehicle to get the security system checked. If it doesn't start, tow it. You probably need a new PassKey sensor.

Remote central locking is not working.the battery in the remote is working but when i press on locking there is no response at all from the car and the light on the dashboard does not flash, any ideas?

check the alarm and central locking computer on your right of the steering wheel , unlock it and reset it after 1 hour you can try again and it should be reset and the alarm will sound if its active.

Airbag light flashing

As long as the light is on the airbag system is disabled.

I would suspect that your clockspring behind the steering wheel is going bad. I would have someone with a scan tool that is able to retrieve trouble codes from the airbag system check it for codes to verify this. If so then steering wheel and steering column trim would have to be removed to access the clockspring to replace it.

Security system not working as it used to

i read this on the subaru tech bulletin page
i had the same problem - apparently i had inadvertently put the system into "valet" mode
to get back to normal, unlock with remote - open drivers door - hold down the unlock button on your remote for 2-3 sec - the flashing light will go out and your system should be back to normal
it's too bad the manual doesn't supply information about activating and deactivating "valet" mode
good luck

The vehicle interior (courtesy) light and door open warning light (DOOR AJAR indicator) will then illuminate for 60 seconds when the ignition is turned off, or until the doors are locked with the remote transmitter. Yes, the dashboard instrument panel lights will flash when the parking lights flash.

Press and *hold programming button* in (see diagram, button under dashboard)
After 15 seconds the the door locks will cycle 3 times. Do not release Programming button

If you can't find it, it might still be tucked up in the wiring harness higher up in that same general area. The botton is recessed in a plastic ring (see diagram).
This button must be pressed while programming remotes or if the battery was disconnected and the lights are flashing.
