I have a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado V8 Reg. cab and a check engine light on with error code P0449. Can I get a picture of the EVAP vent solenoid and its location on the vehicle? A picture of the purge valve solenoid and its location as well as the vapor canister. Which wiring or connector should I check dealing with this code. Can I do this work or should I take it to a mechanic?

P0135 is a bad 02 sensor
P0442 is a evap problem
P0449 is a vent solenoid
i would check the vent solenoid first its a 4ws fuse under the hood in the fuse box make sure you have power to it you should have power at all times the ground comes from the pcm i think if you fix this everything else will work they are all computer controled
