It may be the dimmer switch located on the base of the steering colume that is not working on the low beam side.also the headlights themselves may need changing if the low beam filament is burnt out and you didn`t realize one was burnt out then the other one burnt out.if that`s not the case then it could be a bad connection at the plug connector for the low beam or for some reason power is lost between the switch and the headlight.you don`t say if this has day time running lights,if it does then it could be the drl relay that is bad.

Low beam headlights dont work

Generally that happens when your low beam bulbs burn out. I have had that happen a couple of times, no warning, no indication leading up to it.

I would just replace the bulbs.

My 2004 madza 3i high and low beam are too low. I have to use high beam to see the road. Is anyone know how to fix it?

This is not hard to fix. Wait until it is dark enough outside to clearly see your headlight beams, then park your car on level ground 20 feet from a wall, fence, garage door, etc. Turn on your headlights (be sure your high beams are off) and open the hood. on the top of each headlight assembly you will find an adjustment screw... just turn the screw with a Phillips screwdriver until the hot spot in the center of your headlight beam hits the wall where it meets the ground.

Headlights went out. Replaced bulbs and switch and still lights don't work. Fog lights and high beams work? What else can work?

If high beams work and low beams do not, then it is probably the high/low relay. It is part number 15016745 and has four prongs. To test if your relay has gone bad locate the relay in your fuse box. There will be two of these relays located next to each other. One controls the low beam headlights and the other the cooling fan. Swap the relays and check your low beam headlights. If the low beams work you have a bad relay.

Low beam not work !!

replace the headlight bulbs. Usually when the bulbs blow out the low beam blows out first, but the high beams still work. If you want and need both low and high beams to work then replace the headlight bulbs with brand new ones and I garauntee that both low and high beams will work
