I have a 9000 2.3 CSE turbo bought new in 1995. the immobilizer was fitted to the car before i picked it up. my problem seems to be the fob which is a unit that hangs around with the ignition key. ( not the fob battery operated type) when cool it starts no problem,when hot it has started to play at turning over but not starting. I have replaced the battery. had the crank sensor changed, but it still plays up. However today and yesterday, I noticed that if it does not fire up first time, then if I remove the ignition key wait for the warning light from the immobilizor to flash, then make agood rubbing type contact with the pad, it will start straight away. can i have the immobilizer taken out or bypassed. I know the car is inprestine condition. But who in their right mind would pinch an old car when there are better ones onthe road? Help would be appreciated Lez
