A speed censor would be a part which refuses to tell you how fast you are going. A speed sensor tells the computer how fast the final drive is turning, and thus is normally located on the rear section of the transmission and held in place by bolts or screws in place.
the speed censor is on the side of the tranny it has a two wire pluggin going to it.speed censor are pretty easy to put in ,they just tread in to the side of the tranny.
HI the speed sensor is located on the front of the transmission. You will need to remove the air cleaner houseing to get access. The sensor will be to the right and under the shift linkage. I hope this helps happy hunting.
Hi, the output speed sensor in located on the left side(drivers side)at the rear of the tranmission. The input speed sensor is located in the front of the transmiison on the left side as well, and yes both speed senors are interchangable. Take care
