most just push into the wiper switch.Disconnect battery negative First wait 3-5 minutes Then on the back side of steering wheel is are the retaining screws that hold the air bag to the steering wheel once removed disconnect wires and place pad side down then remove steering wheel, now you are looking at the air bag cable reel mark it position and remove without turning it. If installed wrong it will break. Remove lock plate then turn signal switch then you can see the handle nub with a small screwdriver pry nub out of wiper switch. and reassemble.
You need to replace turn sinal switch its not hard remove center of steering wheel (horn button) remove steering wheel bolt with steering wheel puller pull wheel off remove turn signal handle three screws and emergency button, under dash on right side of steering colume disconect turn signal wires tape a long wire to the end of connector pull turn signal wires out with out pulling tape wire out so you can tape new turn signal wire connector to wire so you can pull it back through
I would check your brake light swich located under dash just fallow your brake pedle with a test light see if you have power going to it slitely press brake pedle see if other side of switch has power (key on car not running) if not try ajusting it by pulling on it or unscewing it if all checks out ok replace turn signal switch disconnect battery remove center part of steerring remove center bolt with steerring puller pull steering wheel with locking plate puller pull locking plate remove turn signal handle emergency button three scews holding turn signal under dash fallow steering colum disconect wires on right side (passenger side) tape a long wire to end of connector pull turn signal without pulling tape wire all the way out so you can tape it to new turn signal wire connector to be able to pull wires back down steerring colume (you might have to losen steerring colume and bracket two scews under dash four on steering colume)
Remove the steering wheel, turn signal reset (plastic), remove clip and spring. Remove trim to expose the entire colum. Disconnect all connectors. There are four main bolts holding the colum up. Remove the bolts and lower the colum. At the end of the steering shaft there is a bolt going through the colum. Remove the bolt. The colum can then be removed.
To remove turn switch, make sure steeing wheel is staight and remove horn button and steering wheel...Now you will need a special tool called LOCK PLATE REMOVAL tool . that will expose the turn swith.Unscrew the turn switch handle and emergency flasher switch.Remove 3 screws to remove the switch. At he bottom of the steering colum is a half-moon shaped connector that you need to disconnect and install a 3 foot piece of wire securelly so when you pull switch out the wire will be able to guide new switch wire into place and reinstall
sounds like the awitch is bad ....first check connection in the steering colume....where the switch plugs in ....the turn signal switches themselfs do go bad
Since you've check or Changed your Bulbs and Fuse also Check or Replace your Turn Signal Flasher,Just as a Percation i would Double Check Fuses,Bulbs and Signal flasher.
If these are All showing bad I would say your Signal Switch has Stopped Working.
To Replace the Signal Swith :
1st Disconnect your Negative Battery Cable.
Remove Steering Wheel (you'll need a Puller, the remove the Shroud around the Steering Wheel Colume.
CAUTION= If you have Air Bags be careful. But you will have to remove the Air Bag Module by removing the coil lock spring Screw.
Then remove the Retaing ring and Coil Spring it will still be attached to your wiring=Just let it Hang.
Next you'll need a Compression Lock Spring Plate Tool.
Attach it to the Center of the Steering Colume, Rotate the Nut Clockwise to Remove,After Compressed you'll see a Metal Snap ring Remove it from the Groove then remove the Tool& Plate
Now you'll need to remove the Plastic Cancel ,the ring and ALL the Bearing including the Bearing Race.
Remove the Signal Arm Lever Screw. then the Signal switch Screws. Pull the Switch out and let it Hang(Still attached to the Wiring.
Get down under then you'll have to look for the screws that hold the wiring to steering colume, Remove then.
Then remove the Retaining Rng and the Wire Plug Protector. Now you Can Pull the Signal Swith Out.
Installing New Swith Simply Reverse the Removal Directions to Install your New Switch.
Please take time to Vote on my Quality of Service and the Help i Provided And a Small Testamony would be Great. If you don't mind.
the turn sigal switch is in the multi function switch system. you will have to pull the steering colum apart to get to it. first pull the bottom part of the colum shell and see if it will sneak out that way with out complete dissasembly.
if the fuse is good then the multifunction switch is bad. this is the switch in the steering colum. this switch comes with the signal arm that comes out the side of steering colum as a complete assembley. the top and bottom covers of the steering colum must be removed to change switch.
