I have a 1997 kia sportage, as soon as the engine warms up say 4miles running as soon as i go above 1900 RPM the engine will stop power like fuel starvation. can you help on this

Have you checked the fuel pump relay to see if it is sending power to the pump ? The computer grounds the relay when the computer "sees" oil pressure or engine RPM.
I had a simular problem.
Ended up changing the themastat and the gears changed into overdrive when the temp. got to normal running.
Be carefull that you get right thermastat though. You want one that reaches the normal working Temp as soon as possable.

There only one problem wrong.You dont let your transmission warm up.You transmission has you warm up just like the motor.Try this and i promise when you take off it will shift like no other
